Mystery Film Rolls Pick n' Mix

A few rolls of film from my Diana mini camera had been gathering dust until I finally had the funds to get them developed. There were a couple that I couldn't remember what was on them, which, for me is the beauty of film. Sometimes I like not knowing how an photo will turn out as I savour each shutter click for something special then I get a nice surprise when I get a roll developed!

I remembered a photo walk around Melbourne I did a months ago with these guys, a beach outing, a trip to Nelson airport and a few holiday snaps from a long lost New Zealand summer.

I'm so pleased to bring you some pictures from Bearded Iris Studio's look book shot on a wonderfully sunny day in Richmond's backstreets. What a wonderful team we had to photograph Nico Wildson's wonderful pieces. Make-up: Rob Povey, Styling: Joanna Morton from The Visualary, Model: Sarah Pritchard. And now to add that blue dress to my want list.

C is for Cookie

So I know this isn't a food blog, it's a photography one, but one not combine the two? I took a little time out to smell the cookie dough today and baked these oatmeal, cranberry and dark chocolate cookies.  Here's the recipe for anyone who wants to make them  (just substitute the white chocolate for dark :) )

It's Lovely O'Lovely

I've always wanted to do a 60's styled shoot so when the opportunity arose to take some pictures for O'Lovely, I decided to draw inspirations from my favourite era. I was inspired by this image which lead to the shoot having a story of two girls running away from home.

Be chic this weekend

Oh my goodness, it's Friday! Which means tomorrow I'll be taking my sassy little self down to the Big Hearted Business Conference with photography buddy Mel from Lomography and Milk and Miel . I can't wait to meet other creatives and ask the panel a tonne of questions I've been storing in my notebook. Oh and did I mention the free flowing Chandon party afterwards? Have a delightful weekend everyone, see you on the other side!
